The last destination in the Cooks is Aitutaki. We spend 5 rainless, hot days here.
Wir machen insgesamt 6 Tauchgänge. Das Wasser hat 27 - 28 Grad, ein Shorty ist nicht unbedingt nötig, dafür sind die Korallen nicht sehr farbig. Wir treffen unter Wasser auf Doktorfische, sehr viele Schildkröten und werden von Napoleonfischen begleitet.
We have 6 dives in total. The water temperature is between 27 and 28 degrees, a shorty is not a must here. Even though the corals are not very colorful, we meet lots of surgeonfish and heaps of turtles. Some Napoleons escort us.
Am Strand finden wir Seesterne und Krabben, die Hauskatze ist nicht wirklich beeindruckt.
There are starfish and crabs at the beach, the cat of the resort is not really impressed.
Die Sonnenuntergänge sind schon fast kitschig.
The sunsets are almost kitschy.
Ein kurzer Energieanfall bringt uns nach 100 Minuten Tauchen am Morgen zu einer 20 km Fahrradtour um die Insel. Danach gehen wir sogar noch auf den höchsten Punkt der Insel (124 m.ü.M.), der "Spaziergang" geht über fast 9 km, wir kommen erst um 21 Uhr bei Finsternis total erschöpft nach Hause.
After diving 100 minutes in the morning, a short energy boost takes us on a 20 km bicycle tour around the island. After that, we "promenade" for almost 9 km to the top of the island (124 m.a.s.). We arrive totally exhausted at home at 9 p.m., it's already dark.

Am letzten Tag machen wir eine Bootsfahrt und chillen bei der One Foot Island. Flo erlernt noch das Aufbrechen von Kokosnüssen.
On our last day, we cruise through the lagoon by boat and chill out at One Foot Island. Flo learns how to open coconuts.
