Schweizer All Blacks

Unseren Ruhetag (Montag) verbringen wir in Palmerston North. Am Dienstag fahren wir ins Papa Te Museum nach Wellington. Sowohl am Montag wie auch am Dienstag kochen wir für Shirley's Familie. Sie kann sich noch an Wolf's Carbonara und an das Geldmacher "Gschnätzlets" erinnern.

We spend our relaxing day in Palmerston North. We visit the Papa Te museum in Wellington on Tuesday. Monday as well as Tuesday, we cook for Shirley's family tea (New Zealand dialect for dinner).

Wir werden völlig überraschend von Shirley's Familie beschenkt, wir sind jetzt All Blacks.. :-)

Am Mittwoch verlassen wir Shannon und fahren nach Napier. Wir verbringen den Tag im Aquarium und spazieren durch die Art Deco Stadt. Wir übernachten bei Judy und Hildo, Freunde von Dean und Shirley.

We leave Shannon on Wednesday and drive up to Napier. We have a look at the aquarium and walk through the art deco city. Hildo and Judy, printer friends of Dean and Shirley, have us for the night.

Bevor wir nach Rotorua fahren besuchen wir noch das erste Gefängnis von Neuseeland in Napier.

Before we leave for Rotorua, we visit the first prison of New Zealand in Napier.

Rotorua ist bekannt für die Geysire, Heisswasserbecken und den Schwefelgestank. Eine traditionelle Show, inklusive Haka, wird auch noch geboten.

Rotorua is known for the geysirs, hot water pools and the smell of rotten eggs (sulfur). A traditional Maori show, including the Haka, is presented there.
